W 2024 roku udane show The World of Hans Zimmer zyska nowy program muzyczny, a tym samym awansuje do międzynarodowej serii koncertów. Muzyczne show zabierze publiczność w wyjątkową dźwiękową podróż, która pozwoli odkryć zupełnie nowe wymiary. Ponadto Hans Zimmer będzie pełnił funkcję kuratora i dyrektora muzycznego spektaklu. – Moim celem w tym nowym programie jest zachowanie kultury orkiestry i umożliwienie publiczności ponownego odkrycia unikalnych aspektów muzyki orkiestrowej. Jest wiele historii, które chciałbym opowiedzieć oraz długoletnich towarzyszy i przyjaciół, których chciałbym przedstawić – podkreśla artysta.
Wybitny dyrygent Gavin Greenaway – wieloletni i zaufany przyjaciel hollywoodzkiego kompozytora – w 2024 roku będzie nadal na żywo oddawał magię utworów Hansa Zimmera dla publiczności razem z najwybitniejszymi, uznanymi solistami z puli talentów Zimmera oraz mistrzowską orkiestrą symfoniczną. Zimmer został uhonorowany dwoma Oscarami, trzema Złotymi Globami, czterema nagrodami Grammy, American Music Award i Tony Award. Do najważniejszych jego dzieł należą m.in. Powerful. Beautiful. Dramatic. Breathtaking. Strong. Touching. This is the music of two-time Academy Award® winner Hans Zimmer. In 2024, his successful show The World of Hans Zimmer will receive a
new musical programme and thus advance to an international concert series at the same time.
The new subtitle “A New Dimension” already hints at this: Hans Zimmer is arranging a brand-new selection from his tremendously diverse collection of scores for The World of Hans Zimmer – A New Dimension. The audience will be taken on a unique musical journey that will immerse them in completely new dimensions. With more than 30 dates in 13 countries, The World of Hans Zimmer – A New Dimension will be experienced in venues across Europe.
The concert tour’s precursor The World of Hans Zimmer – A Symphonic Celebration first wowed audiences in Germany in 2018 and has since been on a triumphal march around the world. Hans Zimmer himself will not appear live on stage in The World of Hans Zimmer – A New Dimension but will function as the show’s curator and musical director. He says: “My aspiration with this new show is to preserve the culture of the orchestra and allow audiences to rediscover the unique facets of orchestral music. There are many background stories I would love to tell and long-time companions and friends I would like to introduce.”
Soundtrack conductor Gavin Greenaway – a long-time and trusted friend of the Hollywood composer – will continue to conjure the magic of Hans Zimmer’s works for the live audience in 2024, along with some of the most outstanding, renowned soloists from Zimmer’s talent pool and a masterful symphony orchestra. Gavin Greenaway tries to put into words how the great interplay between all the musicians works in this concert series: “We have found a way for everyone to exist in this music without anyone being the big star. The music will be the star. The show is an absolute thrill, and we love it.” The audience will be able to enjoy stunning visual projections of film sequences alongside the music.
With The World of Hans Zimmer, the “Hollywood Rebel” (according to the BBC) has created a glamorous, lively, exciting live experience of a very special kind. Hans Zimmer’s extraordinary melodies and modern compositions captivate a huge worldwide fan base across generations. He has already energized countless international cinema blockbusters including “Dune,” “James Bond – No Time to Die,” “The Lion King,” “Gladiator,” “Pirates of the Caribbean,” “The
Dark Knight” trilogy, “Interstellar,” “Last Samurai,” and “Top Gun: Maverick,” among others.
